Jeff... sorry I left Lethbridge in a hurry for Father's day and I left all the photos and videos on my computer in Lethbridge! I am going back there on Tuesday night so I can get them when I go.

Chris I should be good to go on Tuesday.

3:30 at DQ on Tuesday for the upper saint then. Anyone else is welcome. Janson, do you want to give Tate Lowe a call? I think he is itching to get out. He may not be able to because of exams.

I would call, but my job makes such situations a bit awkward.

How crazy is this Drywood? I got Saturday off so if it now to bad I would like to go.

For the South Drywood Link click
here
click on the class (III or IV or V) features of the creek to see pictures about each feature.

We will be rock climbing at north drywood on Sat. Should be a gorgeous day.

I would guess this is the last weekend for drywood. You can easily port the one main drop on the creek. Just make sure you get out before it! There isn't a real good eddy above, and I wouldn't want to head over it blind. You can scout the canyon section from the landing on the south of the creek by following the fence line down to the river and then walking upstream 100m

North drywood is also an option for a long paddling day. It is a hike in, but a nice creek with a fairly different flavor. It is much more intimidating because the bushes close it in. There is one port, and then a really good drop right by a gully.

The water is dropping fast on South Drywood, so I don't know if it'll be too low for Saturday... I would recommend that those going feel fairly comfortable on class 3-4 water and have a solid roll. If Drywood doesn't work out, are there any other suggestions for a Saturday run?

I'm interested in a trip Saturday (and I think my friend Andy is also).

We're probably not looking for anything too crazy (ie. class V). Are there any interested parties?

Was climbing at north drywood on Sat 21st and the flows looked ideal!

I imagine south is just perfect.

Cameron looked medium high. Very nice flows for this time of year.

Cameron Flows were good... I'm sure Janson will let you in on the trip as we had a little more excitement than planned. Morale of the story - don't go over 'Wild Thing' upside down... Story details to come later :-)
