NCCP Level 1 Training

The below information was sent to me in regards to a Level 1 Training. We have two members interested in taking the course. There is a need for at least two more paddlers to make having the course viable. If anyone is interested, please touch base with Roxane.

Hey Nathan

The weekend of June 23/24th would work for me. Chuck and I are trying to juggle some candidates so we can make that weekend happen.

Meanwhile, if you know any other folks that would be interested (we need 4 people to run a course), that would be great. We would run the course out of Pincher Creek.

Cheers,

Roxane.

I have a question for you kayak enthusiasts. I am trying to find somewhere in Edmonton to register my husband in a beginner course as a surprise for his birthday. I have phoned and looked on line the city, U of A and White water paddles but getting any info has been slow and difficult. Does anyone on this site know of somewhere in Edmonton that offers course in the next 2 – 3 mths? Thanks for any information you can give me

The best place that I can mention would be "Alberta Whitewater Association"...

try this and see what it says. Even try emailing them too.

Check out the link for the 3 Rivers Rendezvous... There will be beginner lessons provided this year. It may be the more fun and economical option.
